Distribution Boards

Sub-distribution, final-circuit, metering and row-level distribution: Prisma E boards, XL power cabinets, XM boxes, DPF01 data-centre PDUs, DC panels and outdoor boxes.

Selection guide

Which board is used where?

Selection depends on where the supply comes from, the current to be carried, the site conditions and whether the installation can be interrupted for maintenance. Final values follow the single-line diagram, selectivity study and short-circuit calculation.

Design principles

Standards and design principles

01

Selectivity

Incomer and outgoer protection is coordinated so a final-circuit fault clears without tripping the board above it.

02

Metering and monitoring

From a meter window on an XM box to per-branch measurement and SNMP on a DPF01 row PDU.

03

Mounting and ingress

Surface, flush, floor-standing or outdoor; IP30 to IP67 by location.

04

Standards

IEC 61439-3 / GB 7251 for distribution boards; CE on Prisma E, XL, XM and DPF01.

Production process

From enquiry to commissioning

Design, production and testing sit under one roof, so responsibility stays at one point from the first drawing to site support.

  1. Enquiry and analysisSend a single-line diagram, load list or panel schedule. An engineer confirms voltage, short-circuit level, forms of separation and applicable standards within 24 hours.
  2. Proposal and drawingsBudgetary quotation in five working days, then general-arrangement drawings, busbar sizing and a bill of materials for approval.
  3. Order and engineeringApproved drawings release procurement of Schneider, ABB or specified components and sheet-metal programming.
  4. Fabrication and assemblyLaser cutting, CNC bending, powder coating, busbar processing, primary assembly and secondary wiring in Shaoshan.
  5. Factory acceptance testDielectric, loop-resistance, insulation, earth-continuity, IP and current-injection tests; customers and consultants welcome to witness.
  6. Delivery and after-salesExport packing, sea or air freight, commissioning support and a 7×24 service line with Schneider-trained engineers.

Let's confirm the right board for your project
